  Helpful friendly staff, kid friendly. Food was dire stacked chicken was covered with a cold slice of cheese, when it should be melted. Chips were undercooked. The chicken and bacon salad was meant to have garlic croutons that where nowhere to be seen. The children's fish fingers where dry and over cooked. And portion size for stacked chicken was dreadful. Overall the food was a waste of money. It seems like whoever was cooking couldn't care. I won't be eating there again. The standard of food was a million times better in the Carmarthen Marston's.

  Food was average - not bad for the price but nothing to right home about. Things like the hot pudding covered in custard was luke warm. Pub was sparsely populated but we were given a table right next to the door. When we asked to move to a warmer area, the manager was grumpy and put us by the rather strong smelling toilets despite several tables being empty throughout our visit. Waiting staff were lovely however.

  Recently went there with family for a birthday celebration.. although I do have a soft spot for their mashed potato and "bumbleberry " soft drink, the service was a bit slow, items on the orders had not been fulfilled , (( and subsequently had to be rectified)), and the staff seemed " otherwise engaged" .. if you're looking for a cheap, no frills time.. go there...
